Emily Wexler, PE, is a Senior Associate, Strategic Project Development, for Tranquility49 LLC. In this capacity, she consults on matters of business development, grant preparation and conference organization. She also provides project management, marketing materials, budget control and content creation.
Prior to this position, she worked as an Associate Director for Baruch College of the City University of New York where she wrote and edited numerous white papers and reports, most of which were based on New York City and its built environment. She also managed development programs, securing grants up to $500,000 and lucrative conference sponsorships. Past roles also include serving as a Consultant for the Bank of New York Mellon within its 2,600-person Technology Services Group. In addition, Ms. Wexler worked as a Product Specialist for the Institutional Investments Division of AllianceBernstein; a Development Officer for Stevens Institute of Technology; Product Line Manager for Nordson Corporation and Mechanical Design Engineer for SemiFab, Incorporated.
Ms. Wexler’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University; a Master’s Degree in Management and Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Auburn University. In addition, she is a Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) in the State of California and is a Certified Quality Engineer (C.Q.E.)
Ms. Wexler is a member of the Executive Board of the New York-based Jérôme Lohez 9/11 Scholarship Foundation. She also serves as a Board Member for the Joffrey Ballet School. She has acted as a Volunteer Docent at both the High Line and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
